Fmr. NYPD Detective Bo Dietl to TSA: Hire More Vets

A recent report slammed airport screeners at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport, claiming flyers aren’t getting proper security pat downs more than 80 percent of the time. That report also shows that banned items were removed from baggage by screeners just 25 percent of the time.

After learning about the reported security lapses, former New York Police Department detective Bo Dietl urged the TSA to hire more military veterans.

"What you have to do is get rid of them [TSA workers],” he told Eric Bolling.  “You’ve got guys and ladies coming from Afghanistan, Iraq; bring them in there. Bring in professional people.”

The Mission:

‘You’re hired!’ There is no greater way for a business to say thank you to our courageous servicemen and women than providing them with a job.  The mission of Helping Heroes Work is to raise awareness for the responsibility we all share in helping our returning veterans begin this next critical phase in their lives.
