U.S. veterans coming home from war are likely to face a brand-new challenge: finding a job. Lt. General Howard Bromberg joined “Fox and Friends” to talk about how he helps soldiers transition from active duty to the career world.
Bromberg said, “These soldiers are just wonderful, wonderful folks to have in your communities to work. They’re true patriots, but not only that, they are very, very strong individuals and they make excellent employees.”
He explained how his organization is looking to improve young veterans’ opportunities by “changing our programs so that a soldier can spend more time thinking about transition than actually transitioning in.”
