Drexel Hamilton Recruits Disabled Military Veterans

U.S. veterans Cal Quinn and James Cahill, the CFO of Drexel Hamilton and the president of Drexel Hamilton (respectively) sat down with Gerri Willis of "The Willis Report" to discuss their efforts to employ service-disabled veterans.

“What we do is have a veteran with a veteran — a Wall Street veteran with a veteran," described Cahill of the mentorship program that takes places at his Wall Street financial services firm. He then went on to say that the 13 wounded veterans who take part in this mentorship are some of the best and brightest he has.

Quinn described one of the programs Drexel Hamilton works with, which is called Wall Street War Fighters, as "an associate training program, basically equipping disabled veterans with a basic skill set so that they can get placed in the industry.”

The Mission:

‘You’re hired!’ There is no greater way for a business to say thank you to our courageous servicemen and women than providing them with a job.  The mission of Helping Heroes Work is to raise awareness for the responsibility we all share in helping our returning veterans begin this next critical phase in their lives.
